Ola-Aluko Jeremiah, popularly known as AJ, has been crowned the winner of the NollyHood reality TV show Beach Edition Season 2. His victory comes after weeks of a grueling competition that pushed 33 contestants to their limits, testing their creative talents, emotional resilience, and ability to handle intense pressure. For his efforts, AJ walked away with the grand prize, which includes a brand-new car and rewards valued at ₦15 million.
A Theatre Arts graduate from the University of Benin, AJ described the entire experience as life-changing. He admitted that life inside the house was an emotional rollercoaster, filled with everything from pure excitement to moments of frustration. The aspiring actor and voice-over artist believes the show has provided him with the necessary exposure to navigate the competitive entertainment industry. He noted that the platform significantly boosted his confidence and taught him the importance of stepping out of his comfort zone to achieve real progress.
The first runner-up, Favor Elebuwe, also known as FC, shared a similarly transformative story. For her, the 25 days spent in the house were instrumental in helping her overcome shyness. She expressed deep gratitude to her supporters and the organizers, who have already fulfilled their promise by featuring her in an upcoming film. Currently on a movie set, Elebuwe is focused on her acting career and harbors long-term dreams of establishing her own production house.
The second runner-up, Ada Orji, famously called Chocolate, looked back on her journey as a period of significant personal growth. A travel consultant with a passion for acting and music, she explained that living with people from diverse backgrounds required a great deal of patience and adaptability. While she did not take home the top prize, she told Reports that the experience made her more outspoken and focused on her goals in the creative space.
The second edition of the NollyHood show served as a melting pot for emerging talents from across Nigeria. Beyond the prizes, participants praised the organizers for creating an environment that fostered unity and professional development. As this season concludes, the finalists are already leveraging their newfound fame to explore bigger opportunities, marking the rise of fresh and determined voices in Nigeria’s entertainment landscape.
