Axxela has released its 2025 Sustainability Report, showing steady progress in its environmental, social and governance efforts across its gas and power operations.
The report, titled “Enabling Access, Deepening Impact,” notes that the company added 39 kilometres of gas pipeline last year across Lagos, Ogun and Rivers states. It recorded zero fatalities and achieved 9.6 million Lost Time Injury-free man-hours. Axxela also earned Great Place to Work certification and a Gold Medal rating in the EcoVadis Sustainability Assessment, placing it among the top 5% of companies assessed globally.
Group Chief Executive Officer Moshood Olajide said the performance reflects the company’s focus on responsible growth. He noted that each new customer connection supports cleaner energy use and helps industries move away from dirtier fuels.
The report, Axxela’s ninth in a row, was prepared according to the core requirements of the Global Reporting Initiative Standards.
