BGK, NADDC Unveil Plans for 26th Abuja International Motor Fair
Organisers of the 26th Abuja International Motor Fair have announced plans for the four day event, scheduled to hold from November 10 to 13 at Eagle Square in Abuja.
The fair is being jointly organised by BKG Exhibitions Ltd. and the National Automotive Design and Development Council, NADDC, the Federal Government agency responsible for overseeing the development of Nigeria’s automotive industry.
The event is expected to attract participants from government, automobile manufacturing, finance, technology, logistics, development institutions and the wider private sector.
A three day conference will also form part of the programme, bringing together speakers and experts from different areas of the automotive industry. The conference will focus on the theme, “Driving Nigeria’s Automotive Transformation: Policy, Production, and Prosperity.”
According to the organisers, visitors will have access to a wide range of activities, including the Nigeria Automotive Excellence Awards Night, Abuja Automotive Road Show and the Ultimate Test Drive experience.
The programme will also feature exotic vehicle displays, the Automotive and Future Mobility Arena, professional advisory sessions and technical presentations. Visitors will additionally have the opportunity to experience some of Abuja’s finest cuisine.
Chairman of the Organising Committee and Managing Director of BKG Exhibitions Ltd., Ifeanyi Agwu, said the conference would feature a keynote address by the Director General of NADDC, Otunba Joseph Osanipin, alongside presentations from leading figures in the automotive and transport sectors.
Agwu said the fair would provide an avenue for participants to connect with industry leaders, investors, government officials and business executives. He added that attendees would also be able to explore new vehicles, technologies, products and emerging business opportunities.
The Abuja International Motor Fair has, over the years, developed into one of Nigeria’s major platforms for automotive exhibitions and policy discussions.
The annual gathering brings together government agencies, vehicle manufacturers, assemblers, component producers, aftermarket operators, transport organisations, financial institutions, development partners, investors and other industry professionals.
Through the exhibition and its accompanying discussions, the organisers seek to promote stronger collaboration and support the sustainable development of Nigeria’s automotive sector.
