Brooklyn Beckham, son of David and Victoria Beckham, has publicly declared he has no intention of reconciling with his parents. He also accused them of trying to interfere in his marriage to actress Nicola Peltz.
The tensions surfaced amid reports of strained relations within the Beckham family. Brooklyn’s younger brother, Cruz, has previously denied claims that their parents unfollowed him on Instagram, insisting instead that it was Brooklyn who blocked them.
In a candid Instagram post, Brooklyn addressed the situation head-on: “I have been silent for years, trying to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued going to the press, leaving me no choice but to speak for myself and reveal the truth about some of the lies being printed. I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled—I’m finally standing up for myself.”
He went on to criticize the media narratives surrounding his family: “For my entire life, my parents have controlled the story in the press. The performative social media posts, staged family events, and inauthentic relationships have been a constant in my life. Recently, I’ve witnessed the lengths they’ll go to spread falsehoods in the media, often at the expense of innocent people, to maintain a façade. But the truth always comes out.”
Brooklyn’s statement underscores a long-simmering rift and his determination to assert independence from the public image carefully managed by his parents.
