Afrobeats superstar Davido has once again warmed hearts online after he was spotted picking up his daughter, Imade Adeleke, from school in his luxurious Rolls Royce Cullinan.
The award winning singer, who is currently in Lagos, was seen driving into the school premises in the high end vehicle while members of his security team surrounded the car. Although Davido was not clearly visible in the trending clip shared online, the moment quickly caught the attention of fans who praised him for remaining active in his daughter’s life despite his demanding career.
Several social media users reacted warmly to the video, with many describing the singer as a loving and present father.
The touching moment surfaced shortly after Imade celebrated her birthday. Davido had earlier shared adorable photos of his daughter while celebrating her special day, describing her affectionately as his baby girl. He also expressed deep love for her and promised to always be there for her.
To mark the occasion, the music star reportedly treated Imade to an expensive lunch outing in Lagos as part of the birthday celebration.
Davido and Imade’s mother, Sophia Momodu, had previously made headlines over their custody disagreement. In 2024, the singer filed a legal case seeking joint custody of his daughter, alleging that he was being denied access to her and was constantly pressured financially. Sophia, however, denied the allegations and opposed the request.
Their dispute attracted massive public attention at the time, especially after Sophia argued that certain personal issues made the arrangement unsuitable.
Despite the past tension between both parents, Davido later revealed that he had reunited with his daughter after years apart. Sharing photos of their reunion online, the singer described the experience as one of the happiest moments of his life.
