Egbin Power has launched the 11th edition of its scholarship programme, giving 250 students from its host communities the chance to pursue their education.
The initiative underscores the company’s long-standing focus on building a strong educational foundation for young people in the areas where it operates.
Chief Executive Officer Mokhtar Bounour said the programme is part of the company’s broader responsibility to support sustainable development beyond power generation. He explained that investing in education helps create opportunities that last beyond the present, noting that the beneficiaries are expected to become future professionals and leaders who can drive positive change in their communities.
