As the holy month of Ramadan comes to a close, Senator Nenadi Usman, the National Chairman of the Labour Party, has reached out to Nigerians with a message centered on unity, resilience, and a shared sense of duty. In an official statement released on Friday to mark the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations, she emphasized that this period should serve as more than just a festive break; it is a time for citizens to look inward and consider their personal contributions to the nation’s growth.

The Senator noted that Nigeria is currently at a defining moment in its history, requiring every individual to reflect soberly on the direction the country is headed. According to her, building a functional and prosperous society is not a task for the government alone but a collective responsibility that demands integrity and patriotism from every Nigerian. She urged everyone to use this season to renew their commitment to hard work and ethical conduct in their daily lives.

While addressing the various difficulties currently facing the country, including economic pressures and security concerns, the Labour Party leader maintained a strong sense of optimism. In reports shared with Zoyols, she acknowledged the weight of these hardships but insisted that they are not insurmountable. She expressed a firm belief that if Nigerians can find a common purpose and stand together, the country will eventually emerge from its current struggles into a brighter future.

The message further highlighted that the values of peace and progress are essential for any meaningful development to take place. Senator Usman encouraged the public to remain steadfast and not give in to despair, reminding them that national transformation requires active and consistent participation from all quarters.

Concluding her message, she extended her warmest wishes to the Muslim faithful across the country. She prayed that the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations would be filled with peace, joy, and lasting blessings for every household as they transition from the period of fasting into a new season of hope.
