The Nigerian Press Council (NPC) has officially set the stage for its 2026 Summit and Awards Night following a formal partnership agreement with Staples Concepts Nigeria Limited. The collaboration was cemented through a Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Abuja-based media and public relations consultancy firm, signaling a significant commitment to celebrating excellence within the Nigerian media landscape.
During the signing ceremony, the Executive Secretary of the NPC, Dr. Dili Ezughah, and the Chairman of Staples Concepts Nigeria Limited, Chief Oscar Nwogu, presented the signed documents to commemorate the start of this joint venture. The partnership aims to deliver a high-profile event that highlights professional standards and honors outstanding contributions to journalism and public communication across the country.
The event was attended by several notable figures from both the public and private sectors. Among those present to witness the agreement were Ms. Debbie Oladimeji, Prince Gbenga Agboola, and Mr. Dan Ede, the NPC’s Director of Research and Planning.
The gathering also featured appearances by Mr. Jerry Adams and Hon. Henry Osondu Nnorom, an aspirant for the Ezinihitte State Constituency in Imo State.
