Emotional reunion as Shanko Rasheed’s wife regains her kids with Biola Bayo’s help

Zoyols News

The complex and painful custody battle between Fuji singer Shanko Rasheed and his estranged wife, Adeyemi Kafayat, has reached a hopeful turning point. In a deeply moving video recently shared online, Kafayat was seen overcome with emotion as she finally reunited with her two children. The reunion follows a period of intense public distress for the mother of three, who had previously lost her eldest son under tragic circumstances.

At the center of this resolution is Nollywood actress Biola Bayo, who has been a vocal advocate for Kafayat throughout the ordeal. In the widely circulated footage, a tearful Kafayat is seen kneeling in gratitude, pouring out heartfelt prayers for the actress who stepped in to help her navigate the crisis. The scene has touched many across social media, with supporters and fans alike taking to the comments to commend Biola for her intervention and “good heart” during such a vulnerable time for the family.

The backdrop to this reconciliation is one of significant hardship. Following the death of their son last month, Kafayat had appeared in a viral interview with Biola Bayo, where she leveled serious allegations against the singer. According to her account, which was closely monitored by Zoyols, Shanko Rasheed had allegedly accused her of being responsible for their son’s passing and subsequently took custody of their remaining children, leaving her in the dark about their whereabouts for over a week.

The situation was further complicated by claims of abandonment. Kafayat previously alleged that the singer had left her to manage their three children alone while she was unwell and facing an eviction notice from their landlord. She claimed she had even taken out a loan to help him cover the rent, only for him to take the funds and disappear. The singer, for his part, had publicly mourned the loss of their son on his own platforms, stating that no parent should ever have to experience such a tragedy.

Interestingly, Biola Bayo’s commitment to helping Kafayat comes at a time when she has been navigating her own personal challenges. Last year, the actress courageously opened up about her own separation and her decision to move forward with a peaceful co-parenting arrangement for her son. At the time, she spoke candidly about the irony of bringing happiness to others through her work while her own “pillow was drenched in tears” behind closed doors.

Despite facing criticism and trolling regarding her personal life, Biola has continued to use her platform to highlight the struggles of others. This latest victory for Kafayat is being celebrated by many as a testament to the power of sisterhood and the importance of standing up for those who feel silenced by their circumstances.
