Israel Bombs Lebanon, Accuses Hezbollah of Breaking Truce

Israel launched fresh airstrikes in southern Lebanon, killing 11 people including two infants, after accusing Hezbollah of breaching the ceasefire.

The strikes hit the village of Kfar Rumman near Nabatieh, destroying a residential building and killing two rescuers. Israel says it was targeting Hezbollah positions, though residents insist the area was civilian.

Fighting has flared again after weeks of relative calm following the June agreement. Israel claims Hezbollah has carried out drone attacks and attempted to rebuild its military presence in the south.

Lebanon’s president has called on the international community to help halt the renewed attacks.
