Nollywood actor and producer Ibrahim Yekini, popularly known as Itele, is marking a milestone with the acquisition of a multimillion-naira mansion in Lekki. His wife recently shared the news on Instagram, celebrating the actor for turning a dream into reality and creating not just a house, but a home for their family.
Itele took to his own Instagram page to share images of the property, expressing gratitude and humility. “Alhamdulillah. New keys, new chapter in Lekki Phase 1. Grateful for every step,” he wrote, acknowledging the journey that led him here.
Fans and colleagues poured in congratulations. Mo Bimpe called him an “icon,” Omowunmi Ajiboye simply said, “Congratulations, Bobo,” while Destiny Etiko, Nkechi Blessing, and Gabriel Afolayan echoed similar praise, celebrating his milestone and wishing him more blessings.
Hours after the announcements, colleague Cute Abiola teased Itele, suggesting the house was bought by a supporter rather than fully credited to the actor’s efforts, referencing his YouTube movie views of 150 million.
This isn’t Itele’s first high-profile investment. In 2024, he splashed out on a house and car following the success of his film projects, with photos shared online by fellow actor Olayinka Solomon. Leading up to his birthday, he also gifted himself two new cars, a personal reward for his dedication and hard work.
Itele’s rise has been remarkable. His movie Koleoso became the first Nollywood film to hit 100 million YouTube views, cementing him as a trailblazer in African cinema. Reflecting on his journey from humble beginnings in Bauchi, where he once sold jewelry, he credited mentors like Papa T and Femi Adebayo for helping him navigate early struggles.
Ranked among Nigeria’s Top 10 YouTube creators, Itele continues to celebrate organic growth, real audience engagement, and the impact of his work. His story resonates with fans as a testament to persistence, faith, and the power of chasing one’s dreams.
