Nollywood stars Lateef Adedimeji and his wife, Mo Bimpe, have given fans a heartwarming behind-the-scenes look at a recent family photoshoot with their adorable triplet boys.
The couple, who are preparing for the grand naming ceremony of their sons later this month, shared moments from the photoshoot, revealing that getting three babies to cooperate at the same time was anything but easy.
In a lighthearted message, the proud parents joked that what looked like a perfect family photoshoot was made possible through teamwork, patience, and plenty of laughter.
“Behind every cute ETA shoot is two tired parents, four carers and three adorable bosses.
Creating memories with our little trio is one of our greatest joys. Getting three babies to cooperate at the same time deserves an award.
One wants to sleep, another wants cuddles, while the third has completely different plans. Somehow, with lots of patience and plenty of laughs, we end up with the sweetest moments. These are memories we’ll cherish forever.”
The couple welcomed their triplet boys in May, a moment that brought joy to many of their fans. Announcing the birth, Lateef shared a touching video of Mo Bimpe holding their ultrasound scan, describing the arrival of the babies as a blessing beyond anything he had prayed for. He said God had given him more than he ever imagined by making his wife a mother to three boys at once.
On May 7, the family held a private naming ceremony at their home in Lekki, Lagos, attended only by close relatives and a few friends. Among those present were actors Jide Awobona, Ibrahim Yekini, popularly known as Itele, alongside his wife, and actress Omowunmi Dada.
Speaking during an interview with Morayo Afolabi, Lateef reflected on the pregnancy, admitting he was overwhelmed when he first discovered they were expecting triplets. He said the news came as a huge surprise and left him with mixed emotions.
The actor also revealed that he stayed by his wife’s side throughout the delivery. According to him, he witnessed everything firsthand and praised Mo Bimpe for her strength during childbirth.
During a recent visit by fellow actor Femi Adebayo, Lateef jokingly expressed his desire to have more children. His wife quickly responded that she plans to stop at four children, adding that she would love to have a baby girl next.
Lateef has also expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love and support the family has received since welcoming the babies. In a heartfelt message, he thanked fans, colleagues, and well-wishers for celebrating the arrival of their triplets and for keeping the family in their prayers.
The actor has continued to enjoy success in his career as well. At the 12th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) held in May, his movie Lisabi won the awards for Best Indigenous Language Film (West Africa) and Best Makeup. While accepting one of the awards, he dedicated the honour to his wife, saying she had blessed him with three beautiful children.
Lateef also recently responded to a fan who advised him to stop allowing too many people to carry his babies. The actor appreciated the concern and assured the fan that he had taken the advice to heart.
The arrival of the triplets marked a joyful chapter for the couple, especially after they had previously faced criticism and online trolling over not having children. Their growing family has since become a source of celebration for fans and loved ones alike.
