Nigerian TikToker Mirabel has publicly admitted that the r@pe allegation she made in a viral video was false. The content creator, known online as @mirab351, had claimed she was sexually assaulted by an unknown man at her Ogun State residence, alleging he caused injuries with a blade.
The video sparked widespread outrage on social media and prompted the Nigeria Police to investigate. Despite the attention, some online users questioned the credibility of her claims, noting inconsistencies in her account. Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi confirmed the matter was under investigation.
Speaking to social media activist Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), Mirabel revealed that her earlier post was influenced by drug use and hallucinations. She emphasized that her story was not true, clarifying the circumstances behind the viral allegation and urging followers to be cautious about misinformation online.
