Nigerian TikTok stars Habeeb Adelaja, popularly known as Peller, and Amadou Aminata, better known as Jarvis, are set to officially walk down the aisle today, marking another major chapter in a relationship that has played out largely in the public eye.
For months, many social media users questioned whether their romance was genuine or simply another form of online content. The pair initially met as friends and collaborators, with their playful chemistry, disagreements and affectionate moments regularly shared with their followers.
Despite the doubts surrounding their relationship, Peller and Jarvis gradually moved their bond beyond social media. They completed their traditional marriage rites and held their wedding celebrations last Saturday in Lagos.
The lavish celebration took place on August 1, 2026, following their court wedding on July 29 and the earlier traditional marriage ceremony in Benin City. The event attracted celebrities, friends, fellow content creators and other well wishers who gathered to celebrate the couple.
The celebration also became a major social media spectacle, with parts of the event streamed live on platforms including Twitch and YouTube. The arrival of several celebrity guests, as well as announcements surrounding expensive gifts, added to the excitement and kept the ceremony trending online.
Weeks before the wedding, the #JP2026 hashtag had already gained momentum across social media, helping to build anticipation for the occasion. Some celebrity arrivals appeared designed to generate attention, with personalities such as Pretty Mike and Cubana Chief Priest adding their own flair to the festivities.
One of the biggest talking points was the couple’s traditional wedding attire, with photographs and videos of their outfits quickly spreading across social media.
Socialite King Ochacho also attracted attention when he announced a N400 million house in Abuja as a gift to the newlyweds. He later appeared to clarify the figure in a subsequent post, referring to the amount as N400,000.
Another memorable moment came from a masked guest known as Oga9ja, who arrived at the venue with two women and a large entourage. Dressed in an elaborate royal inspired outfit and mask, he presented Peller and Jarvis with a ceremonial cheque worth N10 million during the reception.
The couple’s fellow content creators and influencers were also well represented at the celebration. The wedding marks another significant step in a relationship that has unfolded publicly over several months. In June 2026, Peller proposed to Jarvis during a private beachside ceremony at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Ghana.
Peller had earlier announced that today’s church wedding would be a more intimate affair, with attendance limited to 100 guests.
What began as an online friendship and collaboration has therefore moved into a new phase, with the two content creators now formally beginning married life together.
