Queen Dami, the former wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo, has taken legal action against her ex-boyfriend, singer Portable, over allegations of cyberbullying, blackmail, and other related offences.
The conflict escalated after Portable, in a live video, publicly accused Dami of denying their supposed relationship. He claimed they had been seeing each other secretly for some time and suggested that he had been supporting her financially.
Responding firmly on her Instagram page, Queen Dami shared a screenshot of her petition against the singer, making it clear that they are no longer involved. She denied all claims that she is dating him or visiting him for sexual reasons, emphasizing that such narratives are false and damaging.
“I want to address this clearly and publicly. Portable is my ex, and we are not in a relationship. Any claims that we are dating or that I visit him for sex are completely false. I want nothing to do with him and have moved on with my life. Spreading false and sexualized stories about me is disrespectful, harmful, and unacceptable. I ask that he stop immediately and that people stop entertaining or sharing these lies, as legal actions have been taken. Thank you to everyone who continues to respect me and support my truth. Once again, Portable has been written out of my life for a long time,” she stated.
Queen Dami’s actions highlight her resolve to protect her reputation and set boundaries against harassment and misinformation, sending a clear message that false narratives and personal attacks will not go unchallenged.
