Queen Mercy revealed a screenshot of a message she received from the unnamed individual. She didn’t hold back in describing the gesture as both inappropriate and poorly timed. This reaction comes after the reality star confirmed that her marriage to David Oyekanmi officially ended last year, a fact she believes might have emboldened her ex to think she was now vulnerable.
The history between the two is far from amicable. Queen Mercy recounted how this same individual allegedly orchestrated a smear campaign against her in 2024, right around the time of her wedding. She claimed he recruited friends to spread damaging stories across WhatsApp, Instagram, and Snapchat. During that period, she chose to stay silent and lean on her faith, while her close friends stepped up to defend her reputation online.
Reflecting on the past, Queen Mercy told Reports that her relationship with this man dates all the way back to 2013, during her student days at Nnamdi Azikiwe University. She expressed disappointment that someone who tried to ruin her life just a few years ago would think she is now desperate enough to welcome him back.
