Nigerian music star Tiwa Savage has revealed that she is currently building a new home and expects the property to be ready next year.
The award winning singer made the disclosure during a conversation with Korty, where she spoke about her living arrangements and future plans. According to Tiwa, she has already purchased the property, but construction and finishing works are still ongoing.
While discussing her current residence, the singer humorously explained that she feels both safe and important because of where she lives. She noted that the president’s residence is located directly in front of her home, a situation she believes offers an added sense of security.
“I bought a house somewhere, but it won’t be ready until next year. I feel safe and important in my current location because the president’s house is in front,” she said.
The revelation comes as another milestone in Tiwa Savage’s growing list of investments in luxury real estate. Last year, she gave fans a glimpse of her dream penthouse in Ikoyi, Lagos. The singer shared videos from the construction site, showing the progress of the upscale property that had already generated excitement among her followers.
In 2023, Tiwa also celebrated the acquisition of a luxury home in London, United Kingdom. The singer proudly showcased parts of the property, including its stylish interior, private gym, spacious living areas, and an in house cinema room.
At the time, celebrity blogger Tunde Ednut, a close associate of the singer, claimed she spent about N1.7 billion on the impressive residence, although Tiwa herself did not publicly confirm the figure.
Beyond her achievements in real estate, Tiwa Savage has continued to make headlines with her comments about her music career. In 2024, she hinted that she might be preparing to step away from music, revealing that she was working on what could become her final studio album. She admitted feeling exhausted after years of dedication to the industry.
