Uche Maduagwu Leads Lagos Walk in Support of Peter Okoye

Zoyols News

Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has publicly shown his support for singer Peter Okoye following the musician’s recent revelations about his troubled relationship with his twin brother, Paul Okoye, and their elder brother, Jude.

Maduagwu joined other supporters on the streets of Lagos for a solidarity walk in Peter’s honour. A video circulating online showed the actor leading the procession as participants expressed their support for the former Psquare singer.

The show of solidarity comes after Peter embarked on a lengthy tell all series in which he opened up about his experiences and the disagreements that have affected his relationship with his brothers.

In the early parts of the series, Peter accused his twin brother of repeatedly trying to undermine him and taking indirect shots at him. He said he had decided to stop being the “nice guy” and respond to situations as they came.

Peter later made claims about the financial arrangement involving the brothers and questioned why Jude had to manage them. He pointed out that they had worked with several managers before Jude became involved in their affairs.

In another revelation, Peter alleged that he discovered he was no longer a signatory to the bank account of Northside Entertainment while trying to obtain the company’s statement of account.

The singer also alleged that Jude threatened to shoot him during a disagreement over the ownership of a property in the United States. According to Peter, the argument started after he questioned plans to sell the property.

He went on to claim that Paul and Jude had acquired two mansions without his knowledge and said he was later served a letter asking him to stop performing Psquare songs.

Peter also accused his brothers of taking $3.2 million from their Forex account in 2013. He described the alleged betrayal as particularly painful because it came from members of his own family.

In the final part of his tell all, Peter made further claims concerning how his late mother and siblings treated his wife, Lola, during her pregnancy. He alleged that his mother pressured Lola to leave him, while his brothers wanted her to terminate the pregnancy.

Peter further claimed that an email was allegedly forged in an attempt to portray Lola negatively.

The revelations have generated widespread reactions, with Maduagwu’s public show of support adding another layer to the ongoing conversation surrounding Peter and his family.
