The tension between Wizkid and Burna Boy shows no signs of slowing down, as the former has fired back at his rival following the DJ Tunez incident.
Burna Boy had gone live on Instagram to clarify the scuffle, insisting he only slapped DJ Tunez twice and that none of his crew touched him. He claimed he expected Wizkid to call him directly to resolve the issue but mocked him for appearing online instead, suggesting his rival only has “power online.”
Wizkid didn’t hold back in his response. Taking to social media, he mocked Burna, claiming the videos tell the real story and that Burna clearly got handled during the altercation. In a blunt message, Wizkid told him to focus on himself and his team, adding a pointed reminder to “keep God first” while labeling Burna as “low vibration.”
The confrontation reportedly took place at a nightclub, where disagreements escalated into a physical clash, with DJ Tunez on the receiving end. Following the incident, Tunez described Burna as showing weakness, claiming he held his ground despite facing multiple opponents.
Burna Boy, however, shared a video of himself vibing to Tunez’s song while prancing around his hotel room, throwing subtle shots at the DJ. The incident sparked wider reactions, with the Nigerian DJ Association urging all disc jockeys to refrain from playing Burna’s tracks, emphasizing fairness and equality among DJs.
Wizkid also publicly mocked Burna for rallying ten men to confront a DJ while holding a Diddy towel, calling the whole display foolish. Burna’s team fired back by posting throwback photos, highlighting past encounters with Wizkid to defend their boss.
The feud continues to unfold, with both stars trading sharp words, each trying to assert dominance while fans and industry insiders watch closely.
