Green Lock FC showed what they are made of in their 1xCup 2026 Badagry Zone qualifier, beating Dominion Stars 3-0 with sharp movement and clear intent.
Founded in Abuja in October 2023 by Mr. Olufunsho Cliffton Peters, the club was started as a way to give young players from difficult backgrounds a real chance in the game. Since then it has grown into more than just a team — it has become a place where talent can grow and dreams can take shape.
In the win over Dominion Stars, the team moved as one, stayed disciplined and showed they are aiming higher. Right winger Promise Marcus caught the eye with a brilliant goal that mixed pace and skill, while full-back Gafar Shonde was strong in defence and quick to join attacks when needed.
