Nigerian music stars Adekunle Gold and Simi have made their first public appearance together since welcoming their second child.
The celebrity couple recently stepped out for the MacAllan X Adekunle Gold announcement dinner, where they arrived in style and attracted attention from guests and fans present at the event.
Since news of her pregnancy and the arrival of their baby surfaced, Simi has largely stayed away from the public eye, choosing to keep a quiet lifestyle while focusing on family. Her husband, however, has continued making appearances at events and social gatherings.
The dinner event also had several well known personalities in attendance, including Tomike Adeoye, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, Do2dtun, Shoday and Ladipoe among others.
Back in March, Zoyols News reported that the couple had welcomed their second child. Simi had shared beautiful maternity photos featuring herself and her husband while thanking God for the blessing of family. She also happily revealed that she had become a mother of two.
Adekunle Gold later addressed rumours surrounding the birth during an interview with Great Day Houston. The singer dismissed claims that they welcomed twins, explaining that the reports were false and confirming that they had a baby boy.
The award winning singer has also continued to make headlines in recent months. A few weeks ago, he reportedly spent millions on a brand new G Wagon, with videos of the luxury ride circulating online as friends celebrated the purchase with him.
Earlier this year, Adekunle Gold also surprised Simi on her 38th birthday with a new Mercedes Benz and a diamond ring. Sharing the special moment on Instagram, Simi expressed excitement over the gifts and described herself as feeling loved and pampered.
In his birthday tribute to his wife, Adekunle spoke warmly about their relationship, calling Simi his favourite person, his greatest inspiration and the place he finds peace. He added that her presence has remained a steady source of strength in his life.
The couple also marked their seventh wedding anniversary in January with heartfelt messages to each other. Adekunle reflected on marrying his best friend seven years ago, saying every year with her has become more beautiful and peaceful.
Simi, on her part, stated that despite the years that have passed, Adekunle remains the one for her. She thanked him for the happiness and calmness he brings into her life and affectionately described him as the husband of her youth.
