Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has released his final 28-man list for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, a blend of familiar names and rising talents spread across every department of the team.
The squad features three goalkeepers, eight defenders, eight midfielders, and nine forwards who will carry Nigeria’s hopes into the tournament. The Eagles are placed in Group C, where they will battle Tunisia, Tanzania, and Uganda for a place in the knockout stages.
Nigeria’s first match comes up on December 23 against Tanzania at the Complexe Sportif de Fès in Fès. Group rivals Tunisia and Uganda will go toe-to-toe later that day at the Stade Annexe of Prince Moulay in Rabat.
Chelle’s selection reflects a mix of experience and fresh energy, with players from top leagues across Europe, Africa, and beyond making the cut.
