The North London side had already secured the league crown earlier in the week, but Mikel Arteta’s men ensured they ended the campaign on a winning note in front of an energetic crowd.

City’s season also ended on a disappointing note after a 2 to 1 defeat against Aston Villa F.C. in what turned out to be Pep Guardiola’s final match in charge of the club.
Antoine Semenyo had given City the lead and briefly raised hopes among the travelling fans. However, Aston Villa came alive in the second half under manager Unai Emery and produced a dramatic comeback.
Ollie Watkins scored twice within 14 minutes to turn the game around completely. His second goal stood out as a moment of brilliance, showing composure and sharp finishing that capped off an impressive week for the striker.
Watkins now finishes the Premier League season with 16 goals, further boosting his confidence ahead of international duties later this year.
