Social media is currently abuzz with fresh speculation regarding the marriage of former Big Brother Naija housemate and Nollywood actress, Oluwabamike Olawunmi, better known as Bambam. The reality star has sparked intense conversation after reports surfaced that she has seemingly dropped her husband’s surname, Adenibuyan, in her professional credits.
The shift became noticeable following the release of a recent movie project featuring the actress. According to details shared with Reports, a screenshot of the film’s closing credits showed her name listed as Oluwabamike Olawunmi, a departure from the married name, Bamike Olawunmi-Adenibuyan, which she has used publicly since her wedding.
This change has not gone unnoticed by eagle-eyed fans who have followed her journey since she tied the knot with her fellow Season 3 star, Tope Adenibuyan, popularly known as Teddy A. Since their high-profile union, Bambam has consistently carried her husband’s name in both her personal and professional life, making this sudden revert to her maiden name a major talking point.
The timing of this development has only added fuel to existing rumors concerning the couple’s relationship status. For some time, there have been whispers among followers and industry insiders suggesting that the duo might be facing a rough patch or a possible separation. While neither party has released an official statement to address the claims, the credit change in her latest film is being interpreted by many as a significant signal.
Reports notes that the couple, who were once considered a blueprint for successful romance originating from reality TV, have recently been the subject of several unverified reports regarding a crisis in their home. This latest move by the actress has led many to wonder if a formal split is on the horizon or if she is simply choosing to rebrand her professional identity.
