A touching video of Nigerian socialite and businessman, Cubana Chief Priest, opening up about his late mother to veteran actress Ngozi Ezeonu has stirred emotions across social media.

The emotional scene was captured during the shoot of his upcoming music video, where Ngozi Ezeonu plays the role of his mother. The video, filmed inside a church, reflects a deeply personal side of the socialite, who revealed that the story behind the song mirrors his own life. He spoke about growing up in a devoted Catholic family and expressed sadness that his mother was no longer alive to share in his success.

Sharing clips from the set, Cubana Chief Priest wrote on his Instagram page, “On set for Chibuike Visuals with my mom, the legendary Ngozi Ezeonu. This is more than a music video — it’s my real-life story, a movie. We are putting in so much hard work. Wait for it… Everything na water.”

Earlier in the year, the nightlife entrepreneur had announced plans to hold another burial ceremony in honor of his mother, who passed away nearly a decade ago. He mentioned that next year marks the tenth anniversary of her remembrance, promising to celebrate her life in grand style.

Cubana Chief Priest’s recent reflections on faith and spirituality have continued to draw public attention. Known for his flamboyant lifestyle, he has been vocal about his renewed focus on God. Not long ago, he shared that the true secret of wealthy men lies in worship and gratitude. After gifting content creator Lucky Udu a million naira, he advised him to become more spiritually grounded and join the popular Hallelujah Challenge to seek divine breakthroughs.

As he counted down to his 37th birthday in March, the proud father of boys revealed he had been persistently praying to God for greater financial blessings. His faith journey, however, is not entirely new. Last year, he opened up about once aspiring to become a Catholic priest and even gaining admission into a seminary before life took a different turn. In another emotional post, he called on Mother Mary for help, admitting that his mind was overwhelmed and only divine intervention could bring him peace.

Demonstrating his evolving perspective, Cubana Chief Priest recently shared a humble experience of flying economy class, reminding Nigerians that what truly matters is reaching one’s destination, not the class of the seat. Yet, in a surprising twist, he later advised his followers to “package” themselves properly, claiming that appearing successful can open doors. According to him, “Fake life brings real life — if you don’t package yourself, you’ll suffer.”

He also emphasized the importance of true friendship, boasting that even if he stumbled, he had thousands of loyal friends ready to lift him up. Encouraging his fans, he urged them to build genuine relationships, stressing that life is a constant balance between meeting and losing people.

Cubana Chief Priest’s story, as captured in this emotional video, paints the picture of a man deeply rooted in his past yet determined to find spiritual and emotional balance amid fame and fortune.
