Inside Obi Cubana’s New Asaba Mansion Built in Just 4 Months

Zoyols News

Obi Cubana has once again captured public attention, this time by unveiling a massive new project in Delta State. The billionaire businessman recently provided a rare look inside his “Millennium City” in Asaba, a development he describes as a unique, world-class endeavor. The official unveiling was a high-profile affair, with the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, joined by other dignitaries to witness the milestone.

During an guided tour of the sprawling estate, the entrepreneur revealed a surprising detail about the project’s timeline. The primary structure within the city was fully constructed and finished in a record-breaking four months. He emphasized that the project was designed to be “one of one,” moving away from standard architectural designs to create what he calls the “Jewel on the Niger.”

This latest achievement follows an ambitious announcement made earlier in the year when the Cubana Group chairman shared his vision of establishing the largest city in Africa. He has often spoken about the power of positive thinking and the importance of having dreams that keep a person awake at night. This drive has clearly paid off, as his business portfolio continues to expand into luxury real estate and hospitality on a grand scale.

Beyond his construction projects, Obi Cubana’s influence in the luxury sector has seen international recognition. Just last year, he proudly hosted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, at his hotel, an event he used to solidify his claim of running the premier luxury destination on the continent. His consistent growth has also been recognized traditionally, with several prestigious chieftaincy titles recently conferred upon him in Anambra State.

His journey to the top, however, was not without its hurdles. He has often reflected on his humble beginnings, including a memorable story from his graduation days at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, when he had to travel by night bus to afford the trip. Since those challenging times, he has transformed into a major philanthropic force, eventually earning a Doctorate in Business Administration for his contributions to the Nigerian economy.

While many first came to know him through the viral and extravagant burial ceremony for his mother—which featured a legendary 246 cows from friends and a star-studded guest list—this latest development in Asaba shows that he is focused on building a lasting legacy. The Cubana Millennium City represents a shift from social media spectacles toward substantial infrastructure that aims to redefine urban living in Nigeria.
