Primate Ayodele’s 2026 Prophecies: Betrayal and Tensions

In an early move that has sparked conversation across political circles, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has released his prophetic outlook for 2026. Unveiled during a church conference on Saturday—weeks ahead of the usual crossover night declarations—the prophecies paint a picture of a turbulent road leading to the 2027 general elections, marked by political betrayals, public unrest, and shifting alliances.

According to Primate Ayodele, the 2027 polls will be a departure from traditional party-line voting. Instead, he predicts that “integrity, delivery, and substance” will be the deciding factors for a demanding electorate. He directed a specific warning toward President Bola Tinubu’s re-election ambitions, suggesting that a significant portion of the Northern political elite will turn against him. To remain competitive, the cleric advised the President to shore up his support in the South-East and parts of the North, as he expects a wave of internal blackmail and betrayal from elder statesmen the President currently trusts.

The political landscape in the North is expected to be particularly fractured. The Primate foresees opposition elements sponsoring attacks on campaign convoys and billboards of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). He also claimed that the upcoming election cycle would be heavily marred by vote-buying and the manipulation of results, involving the two dominant political parties. Furthermore, he predicted that the EFCC would launch investigations that will expose high-ranking politicians, leading to a fierce pushback against the agency’s leadership.

The prophecy also touched on other key figures and government officials. Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was warned to brace for a season of intense blackmail, while the cleric predicted that some of President Tinubu’s current aides and ministers would eventually defect or work for the opposition. He specifically noted that at least one cabinet minister is destined for removal following an indictment. Despite these hurdles, Ayodele believes Tinubu will pull out all the stops—politically, spiritually, and technically—to secure a second term.

On the home front, the year 2026 could be defined by public dissatisfaction. The Primate predicted at least eight major protests, including significant demonstrations led by the Nigeria Labour Union (NLC). Security remains a concern as well, with warnings issued regarding potential attacks on the convoys of governors and lawmakers. He also urged the nation to pray against aviation disasters, specifically mentioning the risk of emergency landings or a military aircraft crash.

Economic and social forecasts were equally diverse. The cleric warned of persistent national grid failures and rising electricity costs, alongside potential instability in the banking sector caused by treasury bill complications. On a more positive note, he projected a boost in tourism revenue and gains in cybersecurity. Other notable predictions included a high-profile fallout between the President and billionaire Aliko Dangote, technical disruptions for major telecom providers like MTN and Glo, and the passing of a prominent Nigerian boxer and footballer.

On the international stage, Primate Ayodele’s vision extended to global tensions. He predicted that some nations in Africa and Asia would begin developing nuclear weapons, while the United States would continue to exert pressure on global tech giants like Google and Amazon. He also warned of a diplomatic rift between Nigeria and France that could potentially impact the country’s sovereignty. As usual, the Primate’s wide-ranging claims have set the stage for a highly debated year ahead.
