Yul Edochie has opened up about a remarkable moment with businessman Obi Cubana that left him genuinely moved. During a visit to Cubana Millennium City in Asaba, Yul went to discuss a few matters, but what happened afterward caught him by surprise. Obi reportedly told his team that Yul would own a house on the site, a gesture the actor described as both unexpected and deeply meaningful.

Sharing the experience on Instagram, Yul praised Obi for quietly investing in people and transforming lives. He described him as a true leader, someone who builds others without seeking recognition. “Obi Cubana is a big asset to Ndi Igbo. A true Igbo King and leader. A man who has built many men and keeps building. Just like that, unexpected. This is what he has been doing for so many people for so many years, silently. A true leader invests in his people. A true leader builds his people. Okpataozuoora! Okpole Yankee! Thank you, nwannem. Deeply appreciated. May you never lack and may God lift you more and more,” Yul wrote.

This encounter follows a string of high-profile interactions and endorsements by the Nollywood star. Last week, he linked up with Cubana in Owerri during the Renewed Hope National Youth Tour, where he reaffirmed his unwavering political support, declaring, “It’s Tinubu or nothing in 2027.” His admiration for the President is long-standing. In March, Yul secured an appointment as Deputy Southeast Coordinator for the “Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria” initiative, asserting his readiness to serve.

Yul has often highlighted the strides he believes President Tinubu’s administration has made, from improving power supply across states to reducing terrorist attacks. He describes the president as the Jagaban, a master strategist, and a silent achiever. His wife, Judy Austin, also praised him for his unwavering dedication when he launched the “Relax Jagaban Will Fix This Country” movement, describing Yul as the embodiment of strength and stability.

The actor’s public admiration for the President has been both bold and unmistakable. He once gave himself the nickname “Asiwaju Baby” to express his loyalty and shared photos wearing Tinubu-inspired attire. Across multiple posts, Yul has consistently affirmed that he believes in the President’s wisdom and capacity to transform the nation, vowing his full support despite the country’s challenges.

Yul Edochie’s recent reflections on Obi Cubana and his steadfast backing of President Tinubu underscore a pattern in his life: a commitment to celebrating visionary leaders and publicly supporting those whose actions he believes can make a difference for the nation.
