Ademola Lookman Claims Goal of the Month Award

Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has been named Atalanta’s Goal of the Month for October.

The award-winning strike came as Lookman netted a brilliant equaliser against AC Milan, a goal that captured the imagination of Atalanta fans who voted for their favourite on social media. Lookman secured 53% of the votes, comfortably ahead of his nearest competitor, who garnered 20%.

This marked Lookman’s first goal of the season, coming after a turbulent summer transfer window in which the forward explored the possibility of leaving the Italian side. His performance against Milan, however, showed he remains a key figure for Atalanta as the season unfolds.
