Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone initially viewed the versatile forward as the perfect weapon to inject creativity, speed, and depth into his frontline.
The reality on the pitch, however, has not quite matched the pre-season optimism. Adapting to life in Madrid has proven incredibly difficult for Lookman, primarily due to Simeone’s notoriously grueling tactical demands.
