The All Progressives Congress in Delta State has declared full support for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, endorsing both leaders as the party’s sole candidates for the 2027 general elections.

The endorsement was made during a well-attended stakeholders meeting at the Government House in Asaba, which brought together senior party figures, including serving and former lawmakers, commissioners, council chairmen, and political leaders from the three senatorial districts.

The motion of confidence was moved by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, and seconded by former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei.

Keyamo commended President Tinubu for what he described as bold and visionary leadership, noting that the removal of fuel subsidy has freed up vital resources for national development. He highlighted the recent approval of $1 billion for the revival of the Warri Port, alongside other key projects such as the Lagos–Calabar coastal highway and the reconstruction of Lagos Airport. According to him, these initiatives reflect prudent management and a clear commitment to Nigeria’s progress.

The minister also praised Governor Oborevwori for his focused leadership and the visible infrastructural transformation taking place across Delta State.

In his remarks, Governor Oborevwori expressed profound gratitude to the APC stakeholders for their unwavering confidence in him and the president. He reaffirmed his commitment to delivering on his development agenda and pledged to continue working for the progress and unity of Delta State.
