Kebbi Governor Suspends Health Commissioner Isma’il

Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has ordered the immediate suspension of the Commissioner for Health, Comrade Yunusa Isma’il, over alleged negligence of duty.

The directive was announced in a statement released on Thursday in Birnin Kebbi by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Yakubu Bala Tafida.

According to the statement, the governor directed the suspended commissioner to provide a convincing explanation on why disciplinary action should not be taken against him for what was described as dereliction of duty and failure to uphold the responsibilities of his office.
