Nigerian singer Niniola Apata has set the record straight about her marital status, dispelling rumors that she has secretly tied the knot. The speculation surrounding her personal life emerged after she reduced her public appearances, leading some fans to speculate that she was hiding a husband.
In a candid interview with Yanga FM Lagos, Niniola put the rumors to rest, stating unequivocally that she is not married. “I’m not a 12-year-old,” she said confidently. “I’m old enough to say whatever it is I want to say with my full chest. I’m not married.”
Niniola also addressed questions about her music collaborations, particularly with her younger sister, Teni. While fans have been eagerly awaiting a joint project between the two talented siblings, Niniola explained that it will happen only when the timing is right. “There’s no family in business,” she emphasized, highlighting the importance of treating music as a professional endeavor rather than a family affair.
Despite their close family bond, Niniola and Teni seem to share a pragmatic approach to their careers. With Niniola’s forthright comments and dedication to her craft, fans can expect more great music from her in the future. For now, rest assured that Niniola is focused on her art, and there’s no secret husband in the picture.
