Sophia Momodu and Daughter Imade Visit Priscilla Ojo and Son

Zoyols Blog

It was a heartwarming moment as Sophia Momodu and her daughter, Imade Adeleke, paid a visit to Priscilla Ojo and her adorable baby boy, Rakeem. The joyful encounter came not long after Priscilla, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, welcomed her first child with her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux. The couple, along with their newborn, recently arrived in Nigeria for a short visit.

A video shared on Priscilla’s Snapchat captured the touching scene — Sophia could be seen gently cradling baby Rakeem while Imade animatedly told stories that filled the room with laughter. Sophia also shared snippets from the visit on her own Snapchat page, expressing how thrilled she and Imade were to finally meet the little one. She revealed that her daughter had instantly bonded with Rakeem and could not get enough of him.

Sophia, known for her close relationship with her daughter, often shares glimpses of their mother-daughter moments online. Earlier this year, she opened up about the kind of values she tries to instill in Imade, explaining that she teaches her to avoid judging others. “If you can’t change something about someone in two minutes, don’t talk about it,” Sophia once said, sharing one of the lessons she passes on to her mini-me.

Her parenting approach drew attention when she firmly responded to a social media user who labeled Imade “insecure” because she wasn’t smiling in a photo. Sophia quickly set the record straight, reminding the critic that her daughter is Imade Adeleke — confident, radiant, and far from insecure. She also stated that she prefers keeping some of their moments private due to the negativity that often trails public posts.

The proud mother frequently expresses how much she looks forward to Imade growing older and discovering her own strength. In a past post where she dazzled in a stunning pink dress, Sophia playfully wrote that she couldn’t wait for her daughter to grow up enough to realize “her mum is a baddie.”

Last year, she also reflected on a trip to Disneyland with Imade, subtly taking a jab at Davido while noting that she had fulfilled a promise that was once intentionally broken to her child. Sophia made it clear that no one could ever disappoint her daughter when she’s around to make things right.

The latest visit to Priscilla and baby Rakeem once again showed Sophia’s nurturing side — a mother who radiates warmth, loyalty, and love, not only to her own child but to those she holds dear.
