The United States government has called on its citizens to leave several countries across the Middle East as tensions in the region continue to rise.
In a message shared on X, Assistant Secretary Mora Namdar said Americans should depart immediately using available commercial flights, citing serious security concerns. The advisory affects more than a dozen countries where the situation is considered unstable.
Among the places listed are Israel, the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip, as well as Iran, Lebanon, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen.
The warning comes after the United States and Israel carried out a major military operation targeting Iran over the weekend. The action has since triggered a sharp escalation, with Tehran responding by launching missiles at U.S. military bases in parts of the Gulf.
Officials say the travel advisory is a precaution aimed at protecting American citizens as the conflict threatens to widen. Zoyols understands that authorities are closely monitoring developments and may issue further updates as events unfold.
