Nollywood actress Uche Montana has firmly denied any involvement in the ongoing controversy surrounding Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
Taking to her Instagram page, Montana addressed the growing rumours linking her to Regina’s alleged drug issues. The actress made it clear that she has no connection whatsoever to the matter and cautioned the public against dragging her name into the dispute.
Her response came shortly after Senator Nwoko, in a detailed Facebook post, accused some of Regina’s close friends and relatives, including Montana and actress Sonia Uche, of sabotaging his wife’s recovery process. He claimed that despite medical advice to restrict Regina’s access to certain people, the group allegedly continued to visit and supply her with substances that worsened her condition.
Reacting calmly, Montana wrote that her name had been unfairly mentioned in connection to a situation she knew nothing about. She explained that her statement was simply to clear the air and protect her peace, urging everyone to verify information before spreading false narratives.
The drama between Regina Daniels and her husband has continued to escalate in recent weeks. In a viral video, Regina accused Nwoko of physical and emotional abuse, describing her life with him as one of control and oppression.
Nwoko responded with his own account, alleging that Regina was battling addiction issues and had assaulted domestic staff during outbursts. He maintained that his actions were attempts to protect and rehabilitate her.
Regina, however, countered his claims, accusing the senator of hypocrisy. She alleged that he was the one who first introduced her to the substances in question and that he had subjected her to confinement, seized her phones, and violated her consent on multiple occasions.
As public attention deepens, Uche Montana’s firm denial adds another layer to the unfolding controversy that has once again placed the spotlight on one of Nollywood’s most talked-about couples.
