The Adamawa State Government has extended an open invitation to investors, entrepreneurs, and business leaders to take advantage of the state’s expanding investment potential and business-friendly environment.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri made the call during the Adamawa Special Day celebration at the 2025 Abuja International Trade Fair on Monday, where he highlighted the state’s stability and readiness for large-scale investment.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry for Local Government Affairs, Mr. Musa Kiri, the governor described Adamawa as a land brimming with opportunities and innovation. He commended the state’s exhibition at the fair as a reflection of its enterprise, creativity, and cultural depth.
“Adamawa is open for business,” Fintiri said. “Our government is committed to driving industrial growth, rebuilding infrastructure, and expanding opportunities for our youth. We have created an enabling environment where trade and investment can thrive across all local government areas.”
The governor expressed appreciation to the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and all participants who contributed to the success of the trade fair, noting that partnerships like this play a crucial role in advancing economic growth.
ACCI Director-General, Mr. Agabaidu Jideani, reaffirmed the chamber’s willingness to collaborate with the Adamawa government in designing policies that attract investors and foster business development. He said the partnership would help strengthen trade networks, boost industrial capacity, and promote inclusive growth across Nigeria.
He added that the theme of this year’s fair, “Sustainability: Consumption, Incentives and Taxation,” aligns perfectly with Adamawa’s developmental vision, particularly in key sectors such as agriculture, renewable energy, and solid minerals.
“With the right trade infrastructure and investment incentives, Adamawa’s resources can be transformed into sustainable engines of economic growth,” Jideani said, while commending the state for showcasing its vast potential to local and international investors.
The 2025 Abuja International Trade Fair, which began on September 25, concluded on October 6, attracting participants from across Nigeria and beyond.
