The Adamawa State Government has approved the construction of a permanent National Youth Service Corps orientation camp in Makohi, Yola South, at an estimated cost of ₦7.7 billion.
According to the government, the new facility will provide a more conducive environment for corps members and support the smooth running of NYSC activities in the state. Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s administration said the project reflects its commitment to youth development and national integration.
In a separate move, the government also approved over ₦2 billion for the second phase of renovation and upgrading of Cottage Hospitals in Guyuk and Gulak. The intervention is part of a wider effort to strengthen healthcare delivery and ensure residents have greater access to modern medical services across Adamawa State.
Zoyols Blog gathered that both projects form key pillars of the administration’s broader development plan, aimed at improving essential infrastructure and enhancing the wellbeing of citizens.
