Bimpe Akintunde Shuts Down Troll Mocking Her Failed Marriage

Zoyols Blog

Nollywood actress Bimpe Akintunde has once again found herself at the center of social media chatter, but this time, she is choosing to address her critics with grace rather than anger. The popular actress, often called Wasila Coded by her fans, recently faced a barrage of harsh comments from a troll who mocked her personal life and the end of her marriage.

The online attack comes following the quiet collapse of her marriage to Yousuph Ganiyu, which reportedly ended barely a year after their colorful wedding. A commenter took a swipe at her history, claiming she had been “left” by two different men with children and predicting a similar fate for her future relationships. Instead of engaging in a shouting match, Bimpe took to her Instagram page to share a video of herself dancing to Saoty Arewa’s hit song, ‘Kokan E.’ The lyrics, which essentially tell critics to leave her to God’s judgment, served as her official response to the negativity.

Details gathered by Reports reveal that signs of trouble in her marriage first surfaced last year. Her husband, Yousuph, had dropped several cryptic posts on social media, describing a home without peace and respect as the “worst prison in the world.” He further warned the public to be extremely careful when choosing a life partner. Shortly after those posts, the couple unfollowed each other on social media and wiped their pages clean of any shared photos.

Interestingly, the separation seemed to happen right around the time the couple welcomed their daughter. Observant fans noticed that Yousuph was conspicuously absent from the pregnancy videos and birth announcements Bimpe shared. This is a sharp contrast to June 2023, when the actress joyfully announced her marriage to Yousuph, expressing how blessed she felt to be with a man who had admired her from afar for years.

In what many see as a reflection of her current state of mind, Bimpe recently shared a post about the importance of self-forgiveness. She admitted that moving past expensive and unforgettable mistakes is a difficult journey, but one she is willing to take. For her, the focus now is on healing, finding clarity, and gaining the strength to move forward despite the public scrutiny.

As she navigates this new chapter, her message remains clear: she is entrusting her story and her peace to a higher power, regardless of what the internet has to say.
