FCMB Appoints Oluyinka Johnson as Non Executive Director.

First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has announced a significant boost to its board composition with the appointment of Ms. Oluyinka Johnson as a Non Executive Director. The strategic move follows the formal approval granted by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Ms. Johnson is widely recognized as a highly accomplished professional whose career spans over two decades, marked by a sharp focus on leading strategic initiatives and delivering operational excellence across both the financial and broader business sectors.

Her extensive background includes pivotal leadership roles at First Bank of Nigeria Ltd. During her tenure there, she served as the Group Head of First Shared Services (FSS) Banking Operations and the Head of Corporate Transformation. In these capacities, she held oversight over diverse operational units and was instrumental in championing key projects focused on automation and comprehensive process optimization.

Prior to her time at First Bank, Oluyinka Johnson was the Co Founder and Managing Partner of Integrated Business Strategies. In this role, she provided advisory services to top tier financial institutions, guiding them through crucial exercises such as strategy development, transformation projects, performance optimization, and organizational restructuring. Her professional career commenced with a technical background, having worked as a Development Engineer for a leading pharmaceutical company across the UK and the USA.

Her deep reservoir of experience and expertise is expected to bring invaluable insight to FCMB’s strategic decision making process
