Nollywood actress Georgina Ibeh recently opened up about a nerve-wracking experience that tested her patience and faith. On her Instagram, the mother of sons recounted how, on February 9, 2026, she received a shocking email from YouTube stating her channel had been removed. At first, panic set in, but she forced herself to stay calm.

“I wanted to panic,” Georgina admitted, “but I told myself to breathe and trust God.” She explained that she spent days praying, unsure of what to do next. Then, in a quiet moment, the Holy Spirit prompted her to check her YouTube page. When she did, she discovered her channel had been restored—but someone else had taken control, using it to upload political content.

The ordeal continued for a few more days until she received confirmation from YouTube that her channel was fully recovered. Reflecting on the experience, Georgina emphasized that staying calm in the middle of chaos has become second nature to her, a lesson she learned three years ago.

“My YouTube channel got hacked at 1:22 pm. I was nursing my baby when I got the email. At first, I thought it was spam. Then I realized someone had hijacked my channel, renamed it ‘Fox Live,’ and was uploading content I had no control over. I didn’t know what to do, but I told myself to calm down and prayed. God led me to check, and I found my channel. After some steps with my YouTube manager, it was fully restored,” she shared.

Georgina encouraged her followers to celebrate victories, big or small. “In the midst of chaos, I always try to stay calm. Please help me say, ‘Congratulations and thank you, Jesus.’ And don’t forget to subscribe to Georgina Ibeh TV on YouTube—new movie dropping this week.”

Her story echoes similar experiences in Nollywood, where creators like Etinosa Idemudia and Omoni Oboli have faced YouTube takedowns due to copyright issues, only to later recover their work. Georgina’s calm and faith in handling the unexpected stands as a testimony to resilience in the face of digital chaos.
