Tobi Amusan Claims Victory at Italian Grand Prix

Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan returned to winning ways on Sunday, claiming victory in the women’s 100m hurdles at the Grand Prix Brescia in Italy.

Despite a strong headwind, she clocked 12.56 seconds to finish ahead of American Alaysha Johnson and Jamaica’s Ackera Nugent.

The win came just days after she lost her world record to Masai Russell in Zurich. Rather than dwell on the setback, Amusan responded with another strong performance against a quality field.

Her victory shows she remains one of the top sprint hurdlers in the world as the season nears its end.
