Celine Dion Opens Up on Return to Stage Despite Health Challenges

zoyolsnews

Canadian music icon Celine Dion has shared news of her much-anticipated comeback, announcing a concert series in Paris from September 12 to October 14, 2026, despite her ongoing struggle with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS).

Posting a heartfelt video on her Instagram to mark her 58th birthday, Celine thanked fans for their unwavering support. “You have helped me in ways I cannot describe. I’ve missed you so much. I’m singing again, and even doing a little bit of dancing,” she said.

This marks her first major public announcement since canceling her world tour nearly three years ago due to the rare neurological disorder, which causes uncontrollable muscle spasms. Celine made her first appearance in 2024 at the 66th Grammy Awards but has largely stayed out of the spotlight since then, focusing on her health and recovery.

Her Paris residency is now giving fans a chance to witness her resilience and iconic performances, signaling a hopeful new chapter in her extraordinary career.
