Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo has showered heartfelt praise on her close friend and socialite, Chioma Good Hair, for her love and support during her family’s special moment.
The actress recently hosted a lavish welcome party in Lagos for her grandson, Rakeem, who arrived in Nigeria with his parents, Priscilla Ojo and Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux. The event drew several celebrities, including Chioma Good Hair, Toyin Abraham, and Semilore Pweety, among others.
Taking to Instagram after the celebration, Iyabo expressed gratitude to everyone who came to celebrate with her family, giving a special shout-out to Chioma, whom she fondly called “the best godmother in town.” Her post read: “A very big thanks to everyone who came to welcome home my prince charming @rakeem_mk. Special thanks to the best godmother in town, @chiomagoodhair.”
Chioma, who had earlier traveled to Canada to support Priscilla after her baby’s birth, has also spoken highly of Iyabo, calling her “Grandma of the Year.” She praised how naturally Iyabo adapted to caring for her grandchild, saying it was heartwarming to watch her maternal instincts in action again.
Priscilla, too, has never hidden her admiration for Chioma. From gifting her son a Gucci diaper bag — earning herself the title “Rich Aunt” — to being described as the “Queen of Fashion” and “biggest supporter” during her birthday celebration, Chioma continues to hold a special place in the Ojo family’s heart.
Their friendship goes beyond glamour and fame — it’s a genuine bond of sisterhood, love, and loyalty that has stood the test of time, beautifully reflecting in the way they celebrate each other’s milestones.
