Nigerian media personality N6 has stirred reactions online after posting a strongly worded message directed at an unnamed individual many social media users believe to be actor Yul Edochie.
Taking to his X page, the outspoken OAP stated that no amount of podcast appearances or emotional stories could revive a damaged career built on manipulation and bad behaviour. According to him, once an entire industry distances itself from someone because of their actions, public sympathy campaigns would not be enough to restore what had been lost.
In his post, N6 described the unnamed person as manipulative and accused the individual of trying to gain public pity through repeated interviews and fabricated stories. Though he did not directly mention anyone, many online users quickly linked the comments to Yul Edochie following the actor’s recent appearance on The Honest Bunch Podcast.
During the podcast interview, Yul suggested that certain actions from his estranged wife, May Edochie, contributed to his decision to marry actress Judy Austin. The actor admitted he did not mind being seen as the villain in the situation and stated that despite everything that happened, he still wished May success and happiness because she remains the mother of his children.
He also hinted that there were issues during their marriage but maintained that he would never bring private family matters to the internet in an attempt to gain sympathy.
Yul’s relationship with Judy Austin became one of the most talked about celebrity controversies in Nigeria and generated heavy criticism from fans and colleagues. The situation eventually led to the collapse of his marriage with May, who reportedly filed for divorce and sought legal action, including custody arrangements concerning their children.
Since then, Yul and Judy have continued their relationship publicly and now have three sons together named Star Dikeh, Pete Ndubuisi and Universe Yul Edochie.
Over the years, N6 has built a reputation for openly commenting on celebrity controversies and social media drama within the entertainment industry. The media personality is known for his blunt opinions and frequent criticism of public figures.
In one of his previous social media posts, he reacted to a story involving an unfaithful wife, alleging that the woman cloned her husband’s WhatsApp account and attempted to manipulate conversations to paint him as unfaithful as well.
He also defended former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna when reports surfaced that she once worked as a waitress. N6 stated that there was nothing shameful about honest work as long as it did not affect one’s mental health.
The outspoken OAP has also clashed with actress Tonto Dikeh in the past after dismissing one of her emotional videos about Nigerian children.
During the public custody dispute involving singer Davido and Sophia Momodu, N6 openly criticised Sophia over leaked conversations involving Davido’s father and questioned some of her financial demands.
At another time, he praised Adedeji Adeleke for handling the matter with maturity and compassion.
N6 also mocked Instagram comedian De General after his arrest by the EFCC and once criticised former BBNaija housemate Tacha over comments she made about the reality show’s impact on her career.
He equally weighed in on Don Jazzy’s past marriage, praising the music producer for keeping his personal life away from unnecessary public attention despite spending many years in the entertainment industry.
