Nigerian actress and fashion influencer Temi Otedola has opened up about her pregnancy journey, revealing the emotional moment she and her husband, Mr Eazi, discovered they were expecting their first child together.
The couple, who recently shared stunning maternity photos that drew admiration online, spoke about their experience while reflecting on their transition into parenthood.
According to Temi, the discovery happened during their honeymoon shortly after their lavish wedding celebrations in 2025. She explained that after hosting their court wedding in Monaco, traditional ceremony in Dubai, and church wedding in Iceland, they intentionally stepped away from public attention to spend quality time together.
The newlyweds reportedly embarked on a two month honeymoon adventure across South Korea and Japan, choosing to disconnect from social media and focus on themselves. It was during the quiet getaway that they received the exciting news that they would soon become parents.
Speaking on the joyful moment, Temi shared that she and her husband were overwhelmed with happiness as they prepared to begin a new phase of life together.
Rather than making an immediate public announcement, the couple first informed close friends and family members privately by sharing ultrasound scans. Temi also revealed that she later disclosed the pregnancy to many of her close friends while celebrating her 30th birthday in Mallorca.
The actress went on to speak honestly about the challenges she faced during the early stages of pregnancy. She explained that her first trimester came with severe tiredness and constant nausea, joking that it felt more like “all day sickness” than ordinary morning sickness.
Despite the difficult start, Temi said things have gradually improved as the pregnancy progresses. According to her, she now feels healthier, stronger, and more energetic.
She also admitted that pregnancy has changed her daily lifestyle and forced her to slow down from her normally fast paced routine. Temi added that the experience has made her more intentional and reflective about life.
