Actress Nancy Iheme has shared her thoughts on the ongoing tension between Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, subtly addressing the issue without directly naming the couple.
In a post on her social media page, Nancy advised young women to think carefully before marrying much older men, especially those who are polygamous. She described many older men as “clever and cunning,” noting that women who choose such unions must do so with their eyes wide open.
“You can’t marry an old man without being calculative, especially when you know he’s a polygamist. You can’t climb that far in age only to be served breadcrumbs,” she wrote.
The actress also urged women not to treat marriage as a “poverty alleviation scheme,” warning that some older men use wealth to control and manipulate their wives. She emphasized that marrying an older man “isn’t for the faint-hearted,” encouraging women to value their peace of mind above everything else.
“If you’re not happy in your marriage, take a walk. Your happiness matters. I’ve been in that situation before take a walk and be free,” she concluded.
