Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Sultana, has opened up about a difficult chapter of her life, revealing that she was forced into marriage as a teenager.

During a candid conversation with fellow housemate Jason Jae in the garden, Sultana disclosed that she was married off at the age of 15 and is now a mother of two daughters. She admitted the marriage was never her choice but something she was compelled to accept at the time.

Reflecting on her past, Sultana credited her resilience and determination for helping her eventually walk away from the situation. “I was married off really young, as a child,” she said.

Taken aback by the revelation, Jason Jae asked how old she was at the time. “I was about 15,” Sultana replied, leaving him visibly stunned.

Opening up further, she explained that her free-spirited nature played a role in her decision to break away. “Was it something I wanted? No, but it happened. And the thing is, my stubbornness got me out of it. I was already growing, and because I like piercings, tattoos… I haven’t even gotten the kind of tattoo I want yet, because I dey think of my mama,” she said with a mix of reflection and defiance.

Sultana’s revelation left viewers and housemates alike with a deeper understanding of the struggles she has endured and the strength that continues to define her journey.
