Governor Yusuf Affirms Strong Ties with Kwankwaso

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has dismissed speculations of a fallout with his political mentor, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, making it clear that their relationship remains intact and unwavering.

Speaking at a gathering attended by prominent figures of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and members of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, Yusuf emphasized that no one can come between him and Kwankwaso. He described their bond as one built on mutual respect, loyalty, and a shared commitment to public service.

The governor praised Kwankwaso as a visionary and selfless leader whose love for the people of Kano State and Nigeria continues to inspire his followers. “God has blessed us with a leader who genuinely cares about the people and works tirelessly for their progress,” Yusuf said, reaffirming his commitment to advancing the ideals of the Kwankwasiyya philosophy rooted in service, accountability, and empowerment.

Senator Kwankwaso, in his address, appreciated the NNPP National Chairman, Dr. Ajuji Ahmed, alongside party leaders from over 30 states and dedicated supporters for their unwavering loyalty. He called on members of both the NNPP and the Kwankwasiyya Movement to stay united, focused, and committed to the party’s continued growth and success.
