Rev. Fr. Bobbo Paschal, the Parish Priest of St. Stephen Parish in Kushe Gugbu, Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State, was taken by armed men during a violent attack in the early hours of Monday, November 17, 2025.
The attackers stormed the parish premises and forced their way into the priest’s residence before taking him away. The situation grew even more tragic as the Archdiocese of Kaduna later confirmed that the brother of another priest, Rev. Fr. Anthony Yero, was killed during the invasion.
In a statement released by the Chancellor of the Archdiocese, Rev. Fr. Christian Okewu Emmanuel, it was revealed that several other residents were also abducted by the gunmen.
He appealed to the public to keep the victims in their prayers, asking for their safe return and for the soul of the deceased to find rest.
